Abstract: Previous studies have shown that dexmedetomidine(DEX) can bind to adrenergic receptor (AR) α2, have sedative, analgesic, sympathetic effects, and reduce various lung injuries by anti-inflammatory, oxidative stress and regulate apoptosis and autophagy. A detailed and comprehensive review will be conducted around the lung protective effect of DEX.
