A Case of Transitional Anterior Tooth Restoration using Digital Technology

摘要: 目的:本文通过报道应用数字化技术进行正畸前过渡性前牙修复的治疗过程1例,希望为较长期应用过渡性修复的材料和技术选择提供新的思路。诊治经过:患者女性,28岁,因右上前牙冷热疼痛5天就诊,并有对上前牙重新美学修复的需求。通过根管治疗缓解症状后,进行美学修复设计,制定正畸+修复联合治疗方案,通过数字化技术,利用计算机辅助设计与制造(CAD/CAM)制作聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)树脂临时冠进行上前牙区过渡性修复,保证暂时修复体的耐久使用,并可以保存数据利于再修复。结果:过渡修复后1年,修复体完整,美观效果稳定,牙周塑形效果良好。结论:CAD/CAM聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯树脂可作为正畸前美学区过渡性修复材料,数字化过渡性修复利于后续正畸治疗及美学修复设计。

Abstract: Objective: In this paper, a case of pre-orthodontic transitional anterior tooth restoration using digital technology will be reported, hoping to provide a new idea for the long-term application of transitional restoration materials and technology selection. Diagnosis and treatment: A 28-year-old female patient presented with hot and cold pain in her right upper anterior teeth for 5 days and a need for aesthetic reconstruction of her upper anterior teeth. After the symptoms were relieved by root canal therapy, aesthetic repair was designed and a combined orthodontic and repair treatment plan was developed. Through digital technology, CAD/CAM polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) resin was used to carry out transitional repair in the anterior tooth region to ensure the durable use of the temporary prosthesis, and the data could be saved for re-repair. Results: One year after the transitional restoration, the restoration was complete, the aesthetic effect was stable, and the periodontal shaping effect was good. Conclusions: CAD/CAM polymethyl methacrylate resin can be used as a transitional repair material in pre-orthodontic aesthetic area, and digital transitional repair is beneficial to subsequent orthodontic treatment and aesthetic repair design.
