光动力疗法辅助治疗牙周炎的研究进展

摘要: 光动力疗法(photodynamic therapy,PDT)是一种新型的抗菌方法,该技术是通过产生细胞毒性活性氧破坏病原菌的DNA和细胞膜,达到治疗的目的。因其具有不易产生耐药性、低毒、微创性等优点,近年来,大量学者对PDT辅助治疗牙周炎的效果开展了一系列的研究。本文就PDT辅助治疗牙周炎在工作原理、作用机制、临床疗效及特殊人群应用等方面的研究进展,以及新型光敏剂开发、优化纳米递送系统、治疗设备革新、个体化治疗策略实施和上转换纳米粒子应用等创新应用作一综述,为牙周炎的治疗提供新的思路。

Abstract: Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a new type of antibacterial method. This technology works by generating cytotoxic reactive oxygen species to destroy the DNA and cell membranes of pathogenic bacteria, achieving the purpose of treatment. Due to its advantages of being less likely to develop drug resistance and having low toxicity and minimal invasiveness, in recent years, a large number of scholars have conducted a series of studies on the effectiveness of PDT as an adjuvant treatment for periodontitis. This article reviews the research progress of PDT in the adjunctive treatment of periodontitis, including its working principle, mechanism of action, clinical efficacy and application in special populations, as well as innovative applications such as the development of new photosensitizers, optimized nanodelivery systems, improvement of therapeutic devices, implementation of individualized treatment strategies and application of up-conversion nanoparticles, offering new ideas for the treatment of periodontitis.
