Abstract: Objective: A case of severely worn dentition resulting loss of vertical dimension and difficulty in mastication was reported in this article. Digital techniques were used in this occlusal rehabilitation process. Diagnosis and treatment: Examinations were performed at first, and full dentition occlusal rehabilitation project was confirmed after communication with the patient. A removable occlusal pad was used to determine the vertical dimension, then digital jaw motion analysis system, intraoral scanner, aesthetic analysis and virtual articulator in Exocad software were used to design and produce the transitional prosthesis. Fine adjustments were conducted on transitional prosthesis and the final prosthesis were then finished. Results: With the help of digital techniques, the final prosthesis can effectively restore the normal vertical distance, improve the appearance and masticatory efficiency. Conclusion:Digital techniques have good effect in full-mouth rehabilitation with high precision and good repeatability, which is more suitable for dentists with limited clinical experience.
