Abstract: Objective: This case reported an adult with severe periodontitis with deep overjet and dentition defect, who treated with combination of periodontal-orthodontic-implantation multidiscipline treatment. Diagnosis and treatment: After making the treatment plan, the teeth with severe periodontitis were extracted and the periodontal basic treatment was performed. After re-examination, the periodontal status was stable and orthodontic treatment began. After 30 months of treatment with clear aligners, the dental space was closed, and the overjet and occlusal relationship were improved. The left maxillary sinus floor lift was performed before the implantation, and after 6 months, the missing teeth were repaired. Results: After treatment, the patient achieved stable periodontal condition, optimal overjet and profile and good effect of missing teeth restoration. Conclusions: In the treatment of severe periodontitis with malocclusion, multi-disciplinary diagnosis and treatment can comprehensively analyze the problems of patients and formulate detailed treatment plans, which is of great importance to maintain longtime oral health for patients.
